Shamwow! Watch this hilarious infomercial that aired last year in 2008. Hello? Do you know what year we are on? Basically if you try and analyze the cost of making this commercial it is going to be so cheap. All you need is rent some high definition (maybe not even) camcorder with a camera man and get your product with the examples such as a carpet and waterbowl. Go use someone’s kitchen and make it look so generic just for the commercials. Then have some noob who does video editing to do it. Bam! I’m telling you that they probably spent less than $1,000. Hell! I can even do that for low cost. The only expensive thing is actually getting the ad on air. Now that one is going to burn a hole.

So what does this have to do with affiliate marketing? Commercials are out of my budget!! LOL of course it is because if it was in your budget you would be making a shamwow commercial. I see that this commercial sticks out from the rest and makes it way through in being so unique. The emotion on this man’s face just makes you want to buy it. Its a very simple commercial but I’m telling you that this commercial has probably made more sales than the current infomercials.

Clickbank.com is a place to promote ebooks and things like this. Its mostly per sale and commision. Actually it is per sale, not by leads. So you see many affiliates making ebooks and having them promote in this. Instead of having it on video they use a huge landing page. They show graphs, images, powerpoint slides, just to promote at the highest level. Affiliates seem to always use a steam of media to promte the products. They get a voice to say the main points of the product to promte it throuhg sound. Then they might even post a youtube video on the top the demeonstrate what they are selling. This is a very popular tactic and hopefully make money. However to wrap things up, we can say the Shamwow! is unique and instead of thinking and making the best looking landing page, go try something very simple for once!

Anyways, we use we article marketing to promote offers that is usually an ebook. There is an ebook for over thousands of things from weight loss, how to ( insert problem), cookbooks, etc. So pretty much this is flexible and writing an article wouldn’t be so tough when you pick your favorite niche to produce. So should we start? Here is the beginning of article marketing.

Step 1 : First of all sign up for ClickBank. This is the most popular place for promotion of ebooks. Search the web site for any niche you wish. Clickbank is some what challenging to understand its many properties such as gravity and last sale, etc. I will go over this when I write about how to use clickbank in a later post right now I do not want to overload you with information. You need to create a hoplink. Don’t know how? click here http://www.clickbank.com/hoplink_faq.html. Do not be afraid of having no web site because clickbank does NOT call you or approve you. Everyone is approved.

Step 2: Sign up for ezinearticles.com. This is where you will write up and BS your articles. Once you are signed up search your niche and see how many people posted articles. If your niche comes up to be <10,000 you can dominate it easily. If its in the triple digits as 100,000, then its a bit harder to gain. I think ezine lets you add 2 links to the article. This is used to make the traffic click on your link. Ezine does NOT accept direct linking so you will need to set up a web page. If you can write about 1 article a day then you should be good for that niche. In the beginning it takes about a week for them to actually approve your article. YES you will have to be patient. Make sure it fits an article criteria. So now you have an OFFER and a place where traffic accumulates.

Step 3: Go make an account on blogspot or wordpress.com if you don’t have a domain + hosting. Now write like a continuation on your article that is very general so you can use it over and over again since all your articles will link to that exact same web site. Now the link to the offer will be somewhere on that page usually at the top of the end or both of the written mini article. Once you have that up check your hoplink if it works and try to hide it by using a hyperlink text. There is another way to hide it completely but for now this know this basic. Sometimes people steal your sales by putting in their own hoplink to replace with theirs.

Step 4 : Now your job is to create more and more articles to populate the niche. This will give your article higher rankings on google and more hits. In this type of marketing, the more the hits the more you earn money. Conversion rates are VERY low but your high volume assuming you have over 100 articles will compensate for that. That is one reason why you would not want to PPC an Ebook because after 20 – 50
+ hits you will lose money and no one will buy your ebook.

There are more ways to promote the article but for now good luck and be creative! If you need to learn anything from the minor details like hiding a hoplink just google it! However in the future I’m going to go over everything you should do. The only thing i won’t tell you is my niche !

Bum Marketing is all about domination of a niche. You try to dominate all the web sites in that particular niche to make you show up in the first page of google. How this works is simple, you write an article> post it on an article submitter such as ezinearticles.com> drive traffic to your site> make money. Pick a niche that you know all about and branch it off. So if you were selling couches, you would have to write about everything about them from the color, fabrics, covers, etc. Write an article and submit it in ezine. Once you got it down they will start to review it for the content which can take up to a week. Make sure you put your web site on it. Ezine requires users to have a web site so you can not directlink.

One your article is up, you will get a spike of traffic in the next few days. Hopefully they will convert. One article is not enough. What you want to do is make 2-3 articles a day and dominate everyone in that niche. It may seem a lot but once you get about 100+ articles on that niche, you have a greater chance to dominate.

Last Words : Find a Niche that is unsaturated.
